Extremely poor. Actual size bears little resemblance to advertised size rendering them useless. Colour is definitely Not clear, has a real blueish tinge. Would strongly recommend against purcgasing.
Totally useless. “40mm” are more like “45mm” so are unusable!!! Even if they did fit and could be used they are “bluish” rather than clear and look horrible.
I had to buy the slightly bigger size for my stools. They are just a tad too big for the stools but the smaller size would have been too small. I'm currently experimenting putting some felt padding around the stool legs to fill the small gap. Quality of the cap is very good and when I've finished (I've got a couple of different options on the go haha), they will work well to keep the wooden legs dry from the rain water run off.

Fits like a glove!
We have them on indoor wooden chairs. Just what we wanted that does not constantly need to have dust and dog hair taken off (as is the case with felt pads). It would be even nicer if we could have a non-clear cap that suites the wood as it is a darker colour and would add style and look like a sock.
I found the second chair caps ordered and received today, 18 December, were very hard to install and could do with a soft base so sliding armchairs would be easier. The armchairs are very hard to move once installed and it's hard for a 77-year-old to move them! After being so thrilled with my first order I was somewhat disappointed.
